Here are a few things that are clear to me:
- People love to laugh.
- NYC Subways are a place without much laughter.
- Everyone rides the subway! CEOs, writers, athletes, professors, kids, babies, everyone!
- The subway ride can be an uplifting, genuinely fun experience.
- A lot of people out there would love for the subway to be this kind of place.
The question is how to revolutionize our daily commute so it’s not just a few scattered incidents like Improv everywhere or me. Here are some ideas:
1. Build a social networking site – perhaps New Yap City — that allows us to meet other subwayers and track our stories.
2. Train an army of subway interacters who spend subway rides talking to strangers, addressing subway cars, etc.
3. What are your ideas?
